I had the gained the skills in French beforehand which I found very useful during the stay. Even if the the instruction is held in English, French is still needed in everyday situations and in handling administrative matters.

L'Espace and Delicatessen are very nice nightclubs. For restaurants I would recommend Chez Dede and Lounge. You also find some very nice pizzerias on Rue st George. The creperie on Place St Anne was the best of the creperies.

It was difficult to practice my french as we were all taught in english and everyone at the school wanted to practice there english with me. I would have liked to have been more involved in speaking the language more often.
