Personal spending habits
When I left France, I used to live with my parents. The living standards are upper in England than France. My purchasing power was less than France with the same amount of money. I had a part time job during my studies, so I could live better.

Why?
At campus there were many rules as to what you could and could not do. It seemed to be better for younger students. I lived in a house with other unviversity students and we helped each other and did things together.
