Personal recommendation
As I was a foreign student I had to study harder than the local student. You have to take into consideration that you will have to work a lot and regularly.

Final comments
Concerning the accomodation, the less expensive is to live on campus. Furthermore, it helps you to meet people from all other the world and learn you how to become independent. Moreover, you have many things to visit in London such as museums, gardens and outside London such as Windsor...It is beautiful city. Concerning the social life, as London is a cosmopolitan city, you can meet very different cultures and nobody had prejudices. Whatever you are wearing nobody look at you. It is quite appreciable and very different from Paris.

They should pay more attention to foreign students because most of them had a different way of studiyng in their home country and at the begginning it was quite difficult to change my way of learning and writting.

The best place to go when you arrive in London is to go to a pub like "The Waxxy O'Connors", "the Waxxy Little sister"," the Tavern" in Piccadelly or Oxford street. You have also many nightclubs like " Le café de Paris", "The ministry of sound", "The Fabric"...which are very good if you like techno music.I did not go to the theatre as it was quite expensive but you have plenty of them.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Living on campus when you are a foreign student is very good to meet people and to learn living on its own without any parents.

My accomodation named Mac Laren House was next to my university (about 2 minutes on foot). It was organized in appartments of 7 rooms with one big kitchen. All the rooms were quite small but they had its own bathroom and toilets which was quite appreciable. The rooms were clean when I arrived whereas it was not the case for the kitchen.
