To live at Saltmätargatan is expensive, but it is worth the money. The Stockholm School of Economics cares a lot about exchange students and is very helpful in finding an accomodation.

Don't visit Uppsala. Try to come in summer - Sweden is so much nicer then.
Be a citizen of the European Union, it makes things easier and cheaper.

To eat lunch in a restaurant is rather cheap. In the evening, prices are much higher. You can save a lot of money when you don't drink alcohol nor smoke (cigarettes are extremely expensive).

All courses at the SSE are held in English, so it was no problem. Sweden is a bilingual country - really everybody speaks English. This makes it almost impoossible to learn Swedish.
