Finland is perfect for students who want to have the English language as their main communication. no problems at all to speak with the inhabitants as well as the exchange students.

language of instruction was English but courses in Swedish or Finnish were offered, I choosed to attend the course "Swedish for Foreigners" as Swedish is spoken in Finland & Sweden

Country language is Finnish, university language is Swedish, I did only English courses and learnt a bit Swedish. Almost everyone in the city speaks English quite will.
