International Marketing course: very interesting and concrete. International Trade Law: very desappointing. Cultural Environment of International Business: very desappointing, too theoretical. Strategies for Asia Pacific: Incredible. Taught by Ingmar Bjorkman, an INSEAD teacher as well, this course is time consuming but really worth it. The teaher is amazingly interesting, dynamic. He knows how to share its past and current experiences in this area. Just go for it! (even if you are planning to work in Asia. Just try!)

courses are very intensive. try to do your assignments right from the beginning because the amount of stuff to learn will be enourmous in the end. however, if you continuously participate the final exam will not be a problem. if you choose advanced courses you have to epxpect a huge amount of home exercises but often need not write an exam (a very useful information; i wish i would have been aware of that at the beginning of the semester). moreover it is interesting to know that you are asked about your own opinion. it is not only learnt facts that count.

i wanted to learn the finnish language but as hanken is a swedish university this was some sort of a problem. there are no finnish courses for beginners. if you are quick enough you can take a finnish course at the helsinki university, just across the street.

As far as courses are concerned,I think more guest lectures concerning real world issues could make the overall things better.

Academic life is not easy if one wants to get some achievement.Efficient management of time between academic life and social life,in my opinion, can be regarded as a key factor towards a successful,and fruitful life.

Satisfactory,course programme designed and taught by visiting Professors from the US and Sweden and the host country

Comparatively to my home University studies,I have realised some major improvements;known better studies methods, improvement in the depth use of Microsoft programmes such as Powerpoint, EXCEL,WORDS, INTERNET,SPSS etc. Got broader knowledge in research methods, Academic presentations etc. In a nutshell,I realise great improvements in my academic life than ever before.

Great reputation and also exchange of different Universities in town is possible through JOO-agreement. I attended courses both in Hanken and the University of Helsinki. ++++

No ! Since I have been there I hate the system of my home úniversity in Germany. The system there is personal and individual you are not treated as a number in Helsinki
