It is recommended to buy a SIM-Card in Finland (dna or Colombus), phoning is cheap. There are a lot of flea markets and second hand shops in Tampere. You can find a handout in the tourist information. There is also one in Hervanta (south-west-west of Mikontalo). Maybe there is some stuff you need in your flat's storage room in the cellar of your appartment block.
