“My German experience”

Germany, Graduate
Food Science and Technology, 2021
Overall
Basically, I am a master student at the free university of Bolzano in Italy. I applied for an exchange program to the technical university of Munich to continue my specialization in food packaging. I also got an offer for a master thesis working on a new technology for food pasteurization at the technical university of Munich. I am having the best experience of my life especially after discovering the level of the German education. I am willing to improve my knowledge in that field especially that is impacting our environment by all the food waste.

Munich is in the Centre of Europe. We have so the possibility to travel in whole Europe without spending a lot of money. German people are very friendly and, as a french student, I learnt a lot of things from them.

There are a lot of erasmus parties and trips or events. To be updated with all that news you have to loggin at TUMIS web page. In my opinion erasmus parties are funny, but getting involved with the german culture, going out with them and attend to their parties is also an important part of the erasmus life. Stammtisch every monday is a good moment to meet all erasmus people and also the Kneipe Tour at the beguining of each semester.
There is time for erasmus life but also to integrate in the german culture!
