When you choose to live in a different culture I believe that its very important to learn the language in order to get the most out of your stay, and it make my stay so much more interesting.

Thai language is pretty hard to learn. Thai students in international program spoke good English, and Thai people spoke basic English.

Most tourist places speak English but definitely learn the language. The native appreciate it so much more just for trying!
