Of course Thursday nights at Klubben. Other places: Social Club, Train, Show Boat, Kollegium 6...It is also worth it the Aarhus Festival Week by the end of August, beginning of September.
You should visit the "De Gamle By" and the Tivoli Friheden.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because you have a greater contact with people either from the host country or other international students.

Personal comments
It was very efficent, all the people on the housing programme had a good place to stay from the beginning to the end of the school year.
The only thing I would complain about is to have the opportunity to, in someway, choose the place to stay since I could perceive big differences on the cost, this would allow students to administrate better their budget due to the Denmark high cost of living.

Academic
Course recommendations
Try to fully interact with other international students and definately with local students, the latter ones is harder to get closer to, but they can be a great help.

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang)
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
I have good English skills(the language of instruction) before, so, this aspect wasn't a big concern for me although having the opportunity to improve it was one of the main reasons to study abroad. English is understood and spoken in a bilingual level for almost everyone, so, communication was not a problem.
I took some basic Danish classes too.

A little bit of the host language so I would be more involved with it and more motivated, it is quite hard.

Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Traveling is quite expensive if you are not a student but transportation is great, very confortable and punctual.
Asik what you need, Danish people would always help if they can.
Respect the rules, they all do and expect all visitors to do. Respect the way they live.
