Type of housing: hostel

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Now that I'm not a student I would like to live in an apartment or a house because it would give me more privacy.

I never lived in housing provided by SOAS. But I had friends that did. They said the housing was good and it was close to the univeristy but the area (Kings Cross) wasn't very safe.

If returning, I would choose: sharing with other university students
Why?
After the first year of undergraduate studies, during which most students experience 'Halls of Residence', many look to move into flats with the people they've met in their first year. This is without a doubt one of the best ways of dealing with accomodation for the remaining two years.

Housing
Type of housing: Private College Residence
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Private College Residence
Why?
The Residence I stayed in was located in the heart of London. It comprised students from all over the world studying different courses of study in various universities. This allowed me the opportunity to get to know more people from different parts of the world and understand their cultures. The residence also had a full social structure, in terms of activities.

Why?
SOAS provides one of the most advanced and well-organized residential hall near school, which is localed in top central London. With the cost about 80 GBP, though a little expensive for average college residential cost, you get one en-suit bedroom with 24 hour internet facility, well-equipted kicthen, and only 5 minuites from tube.

It was far superior to other university accomodations in London. The facilities were quite new and kept very clean. Sizes of rooms were decent too.

It was inexpensive, had a certain charm but needed repair, cleaning, and furnishing before it was livable.
