In The Netherlands, although I didnt know any words of Dutch, I am really able to cope with everything easily. This is because everybody in Holland speaks English. If someone knows English, it is enough for going to The Netherlands without any problems.

Dutch people talk a perfect english. The do not ussually have stange accents, so it is a good opprtunity to improve your english. Talking about Dutch language, I can only comment that it is quite difficult for latin languages native speakers.

Puk en muk is the best bar for the erasmus students on tuesday night (ask your mentors). 013 is the best disco on saturday night. during the week just have a walk in heuvel and go drinking in each bar...you'll always find a lot of people!
