Dutch people talk a perfect english. The do not ussually have stange accents, so it is a good opprtunity to improve your english.
Talking about Dutch language, I can only comment that it is quite difficult for latin languages native speakers.

Final comments
Dutch people is too serious and sometimes (like everywhere) when you ask them for something they do not look at you. But, when they (80%) look at you, they help you a lot. Although they have to stop their own activities.

Why?
Because almost every student in Tilburg live on campus or at a cycling distance of about 5 minutes.
In my case, more than 25 minutes cycling separated my home from the university.

Talking about accomodations on campus, there is a student atmosfere. You can practise sports easily in the also close to university sport centrum.
