Dutch people have a good knowledge of English which can be very helpful. The problem is that it isn't possible to hear English the whole day because Dutch is the first language in the Netherlands and so the learning effect is lower. There are a lot of exchange students in Tilburg which makes communication very interesting and after some time your explanation skills improve automatically.

Personal recommendation
Everything at this university is well-organized so that you will never feel lost especially at the beginning of your stay. It is very easy to find friends from all over the world because of the high number of exchange students there.
