Personal social experience
Personal comments
Turku is overcrowded with students and this entails a lot of pubs and clubs you can find downtown, even if not all of them are really special.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
The campus is close to the University, and not far away from the city center. And, above all, you find yourself together with plenty of students, local ones and exchange ones.

Personal comments
Finnish language is extremely difficult to learn and your good purpose to get right on it will not last for so long. Everybody in Finland speaks a good English, and you will find that way pretty much more easy.

Erasmus is always great,, so do not be afraid about geography.
You will have so much great time you will forget about the cold weather, rather, you will enjoy it.
