I have also lived in Student Village for over a month, it was quite OK, too. The apartments there are being renovated, however if you get apartment in the older part, you will be sharing kitchen with other people. Student Village is much closer to the university, one saves money on bus tickets - unless you intend to cycle to school every day. Although I must say that not everywhere you can have a chance to ride your bike in -27 Celsius! It was fun!

Personal comments
Since medical students need to communicate with patients, it was sometimes difficult to fully participate in clinical work. Very many Finnish people speak English, but not all.
