Because this university is organised in faculties, you will be able to choose courses from other fields of study than the one you follow at home. so please, take the chance to choose some courses of history (spain one for example!), arts, languages, etc.. Moreover, just be cool, like the Spanish students who start to learn one week before their exams!

It's a little bit outside of Madrid, so if you live in the center like I do, it takes time to get to class (45 min-1 hour), but at least the campus has trees!!!!

You can have a special rate for international calls but you have to apply for it with Telephonica !!! By an abbono for the metro, bus and train it will save you a lot of money! Open a bank account is is easy and doesn't cost any money!

I think this kind of international experience is always worthwhile - in many ways! If you want to improve your Spanish, USE IT even though at first you wouldn't express yourself too fluently.
