If you want to learn spanish I recomend one of the courses on the university.. 50 percent discount for erasmus. It forces you to speak spanish and not english like in many eramsus environments..
think good about your language choice.. because you have spanish catalan and english courses..

the way there is examinated is complete chaos.. maybe it depended on my courses and teachers I had but really proffesional is NOT the way you can call the way of examinating..
I wish I did an intensive language course before comming.. now i waited to long and i had to few time to enjoy my new skills

They have for different subjects..courses different languages. There is no list of witch group is in witch language so you have to go to all the groups and teachers to ask them.. this is time consuming.. At the end it worked out ok but i imagin it can be done easier

I wish you all a very nice stay here.. its a very nice city becaus it has it all.. Culture, nightlife, beach, great festivals, and a university that accepts erasmus students. The only thing... i don't know nothing about the level of the UB university in the center.. but if it is good i would prefer studying in the center and not 30 minuts with the train out of the center.
Si j'y retournais je choisirais: Échange de logement

because the campus that uab offers looks like depressing and is out of the center of barcelona

the housing that uab offers is sharing rooms (not flat), if you don't have problems with this it can be ok. It stays outside of the center but close to university.. it's what you think is most important being close to the city or to the university..
