Housing
Type of housing: shared
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I feel like in my own home, have my privacy but in the same time I get to share with students of my own age(practical for studying especially if they are from my class) and learn abour other cultures. ( I shared with latin american students).

Personal social experience
Personal comments
The University is outside Madrid, but Madrid the city is amazing. In my experience it is one of the most alive cities in Europe. Night spots: La Botellita, Serrano 41, Kapital, Joy, Avenox, O´Connel. Spain is the country of bars and banks, thus you can never see them all. Just buy the "Guia del Ocio" (weekly) for only 1 euro and you get a pick of everything is to see in Madrid: museums, bars, resturants, shows, corridas, etc.

Overall
I wish I had known...
That it was so difficult to find an apartment to rent in September. ( almost impossible). Newspapers publicity doesn´t work. It is a waste of time and money. The solution is walking on the streets and looking for "alquilo" announcements on the porches.

In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
They have very good post-graduated programs. A lot of practical stuff and good teachers. Plus you can choose between studying in english or Spanish.
They also have great facilities: good library and computers with internet free for all students and most of the time available.
