the university does offer accommodation but it is quite disorganised, there are no discriptions of the various types of accommodation in the brochures so it is difficult to get a good idea of what is on offer

Monna lisa, the atmosphere in this bar is amazing. Also palacio de gaviria nightclub is good for the variety of music on offer and creativeness!

foos is cheaper, there is lots of competition. Accommodation was more expensive because normally i'm only in university for 24 weeks a year. I had to pay even for the weeks over christmas that i wasn't here. Nightlife goes on for the WHOLE night here, you just can't resist going out. I speny more on travel because normally i walk to my lectures, (Cambridge is not as big as Madrid!)

there is not much interaction with the lecturers, if you are used to being monitered more closely it could come as a shock...

make sure you check what semester the courses start in, some are not for the whole year. Make sure that the course you want to do is offered that year, sometimes courses change

At first it is a bit nerve racking if you are not that familiar with the language but you realise that you learn new things every day. try and surround yourself with as much of the language as possible
