Final comments
Stay away as much as possible from things that prevent you from accomplishing your goals. For example, to learn Spanish, it is best to be with Spaniards who hardly speak your mother tongue. If you want a lot of freedom, rent your own place. And if you want to get the most out of your experience, don't try to save any money; spend your whole budget every month!!

Personal spending habits
In order to experience as much as you can in a ahort time period, you have to spend money. Aside from this, I came to have fun and to experience things that I couldn't at home, so I was also a little less careful with my money than I would have been at home.
