If you travel alone always let someone know where you are, and try to stay away from American hang outs if you are an American because you can hangout with each other at home!!

Although the university offers classes in English, it is more beneficial to you to take the Spanish-speaking courses only. It may be frustrating at first but you learn much quicker.

My only qualm with the university was the segregation between the international and local students. Although it was not the university's fault that I was not as involved with the local students, I did feel interaction was not as encouraged as it should have been on either side.
