Personal recommendation
The people that work at the international department in San Pablo CEU should speak better English and try to help out more! Nothing was arranged for in advanced. We had to do everything ourselves: Finding a place to stay, arranging classes and talk to professors, ...

Final comments
Do not try to understand everthing immediately, don't get frustated in the beginning when you don't understand people. Do not start studying in the first months, spend time exploring the country and its culture, meet and go out with locals and erasmusstudents... You will learn so much more and before you know you will be fluent and will be able to finally study in Spanish. Copy notes from a smart spanish student and ask help from your professors if needed. Always go to all the classes, you will learn a lot and they appreciate it if you at least show interest and are motivated to learn!

You have to be patient with yourself. You have to try non-stop, it can be very tiring sometimes. You make wonderful erasmus riends who all experience the same things and little difficulties. After one month, you start understanding, after 2 month you can talk simple phrases, after 3 months you really start feeling comfortable talking yourself
