(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Go to Madrid if you like, it´s a great city but I can´t really recomend this university. Go to a public university where the academic standard is higher and people are more openminded.

If you want to travel in Spain, Madrid is ideal because from here you can reach every place easily. Travel by bus, it´s a lot cheaper and more comfortable than travel by train.

Academic
My academic experiences
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with international students
Interaction with local students
Personal comments
If going again, I would certainly choose another University. My experience was, that nobody liked the idea to have international students in this university. They didn´t organize any activity, not even an welcome or information assembly. If you want to know the results of your exams you have to search the whole university building. Depending on the teacher and the students there were some few courses where I felt welcome but also a lot where I felt like nobody wanted me to be there.

Personal comments
As mentioned above, the university didn´t get involved in my search, but I heared from my friends that in Spain, if you live on the campus, you normally don´t have a kitchen neither a washing machine but everything will be prepared by the staff.
