Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Independence, your own spot and right in the center of Cordoba. I don´t mind sharing the appartment with others as long as I don´t have to share my room with a stranger.

Cordoba is a very typical Andalusian city where there is an good variety of bars and nightclubs. It´s not comparable with Madrid or Sevilla where this aspect is much better but nobody complains.

Academic
Course recommendations
One should inform well before plunging into the extensive courselists because some courses are far better than others. The course set-up is mainly a powerpoint presentation and explanations of the teacher. Active participation is not always the case!!

Interaction with international students
Interaction with local students
Personal comments
More active participation during classes and more opportunities to express oneself during exams (which is mainly pure reproduction of the course content- which still goes back to the dictatorship period of Franco)

Pick your courses with care, avoid law courses 8which are spanish-law-oriented courses with very difficult linquistic content).
speak good spanish before coming, students who don´t can get in trouble.

Before I arrived I had already lived six months in Mexico so the spanish language wasn´t a problem apart from the typical Andalusian accent in the beginning.
