Plaza Cañadio is a classic, at the beginning everyone went there, sometimes it gets a little monotonous and one tries to look for something else. Parties at the beach are awesome.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
College residences, namely Colegio Juan de la Cosa, are terrible, expensive, and they are far away from the city centre.

I payed too much. It was a nice apartment, but there were better ones. Do not pay more than 200 euros.

Final comments
Travel to the south, it is beautiful there. Local sport is surfing, so if you dig that, you'll be darn happy.

Academic
Course recommendations
Try to pick courses that are continously evaluated, as opposed to final exams. They make the workload much more bearable and increase your chances of passing.

Personal comments
I already knew spanish, so I had no problems. Most people were communicating nicely and at the end, their spanish was superb. Locals do not tend to socialize with foreigners though.
