Dolce Vita on the Calle Elvira is a hotspot for the foreigers. Ladies can say hello to Fernando, dance on the bar and get a free drink.

The cost of living in your own apartment in Granada is not prohibitive, provided that you share with others. Then you have the added freedom that comes with living on your own. If you get there early there are some very good deals on apartments.

Gramatically, Spanish is quite an easy language to learn but the Andaluz accent is more difficult to understand because they cut off half of the words when they speak. Try to find someone from Granada and speak to them beforehand.
