At first it was a bit difficult to understand people on the streets because in Huelva they speak with Andalusian accent. I needed some time to get accustomed to their speech. In the university all the professors speak clear Spanish so I didn't have any problems.

I went there with no Spanish..I didnt study very much but still I have picked up alot of Spanish! if you have the basics before you go then there is no stopping you...try to learn as much spanish as possible! Take the language course! beware of the teacher however haha

When I arrived in Spain I knew almost nothing in Spanish and my English level was basic.By the time I returned, both my Spanish and English had become fluent.

In the start, in the street, it was a little bit hard to understand what people said bacause the andalus accent is so special, but in the University it wasn't have problem of comprehension.

I think that on the begining I had some problems with the local language but with the time I improve myself at this language (spanish)
