I took a espanol para extranjeros so I was with a lot of other foreign students. You gotta make an effort to speak spanish and meet locals. Otherwise, it is really easy to end up speaking english all the time...

I really liked how the teachers taught us the language. It wasn't so much "textbook" Spanish like what I was used to learning in the Unites States. They would teach us more common sayings and useful phrases that we would use in our everyday life.
