First I couldn't even say a right phrase but at the end it was no problem to comunicate with everybody and to understand even the hardest topics at university. Erasmus is the perfekt way to really learn a language.

It was great to be immersed in the language. The natives were very understanding with my Spanish, and sometimes they would even try to speak to me in English (to practice). Overall, it was great experience.

We speak the same language though not the same language variety. It is an enriching experience to learn new ways of rendering similar meanings, especially from a linguistic and translation perspective.

I think that to learn Spanish you have to be with Spanich people and do not stay only with people from your own country as some people do. And please don't begin to start speaking English.

It easy to learn spanish there. People try to understand you and there are a lot of courses. And the "best" Spanish (the best pronounced) is spoken in valladolid, so it makes it easier.

It's the best place to learn spanish, because in the area of Castilla y Leon, where Valladolid is located, the people speak the most original spanish ( without any special dialect!)
