Estudiar Diseño Industrial en Zaragoza.

Overall

There is a really strong wind in Zaragoza called the "cierzo". It makes some days (especially in winter) very uncomfortable.

The tourism courses are not very demanding in academical terms, but they give a different insight into the tourism industry. As an exchange student you can choose from different years.

Bus prices are reasonable (about 12 euros to get to barcelona or madrid, 35 euros to andorra etc). the main ALSA bus station for travels within spain is located at Puerta del Carmen.

If you are an Erasmus student or any foreign student, don't chose to live on the campus or in a flat with friens who speak the same language because you won' t improve your level in the local langage at all.

It would be very helpful to have an leptop here, because the Internet services at the university practically do not exist.

It is for people who want to get to know the Spanish culture and improve Spanish. Zaragoza is not a turist city.

Be prepared for the hot summers and the relatively cold winters. Local people speak Standard Spanish (Castellano). I recommend a visit to Barcelona.

Travelling around Spain couldnt be easier and cheaper, taking the bus is the cheaper option but taking the train wont cost you much more. The bus however usualy takes the most direct routes, neither will get you there any quicker. Make sure you know about times in Spain (shop openings, lunchtimesetc, which are very different to the ones in Britain, people tend to work late, take long lunch breaks and go out much later (as late as 12) Good luck

skiing: go to the Pyeneos, you will love it; as well in the summer and fall. They are just 2 hours away... beach: go up to Asturia...but not in the high season since it will be overpriced...; and of course: barcelona is a must!
