Theory on point
Fábio F
Portugal, Graduate
Public Relations / Publicity / Advertising, 2021
Overall
The city is not very big and there aren't a lot of things to do during free time however the student life is amazing because of that. It makes you get creative with friends to find out new things to do and makes you bond easier with people that way.
The university is very heavily focused on passing on theory to the students and not that much on practical learning, at least in the social and humanities fields. Since it is not that big it's very easy to get close to teachers and get specialized support in the hardest subjects you may find during your studies.

lack of practical activities; lack of stuff to do around the city;

Small university, strong on researching.
João P
Portugal, Graduate
Economics, 2025
Overall
The education is quite good as we get to interact very directly with the professor which allows us to get much more personalised teaching. But since it's a smaller university there are not many chances to specialise and diversify your learning experience inside the university bounds.

Careers
The university does offer some career opportunities, especially in informing about job positions or internship programs, but it does not have a very big career fair.

Pros
Very personal interaction with great teacher and researchers some of them higly regarded in their field.possibility to get international experiences in the UNITA university alliance.
Cons
More difficult to specialise, in a specific area. There is very big heterogeneity in the peer level. And does not have a international reputation.

Covilhã, a city lost in the mountain of Serra da Estrela, seems a little bit small but when you study here you never want to leave, the college has really nice conditions, people are really kind, you know everyone in your course because of the praxis, the teachers are really compreensive and helpfull in any situation! It has a really nice score in the world best colleges!
