The classes are incredible, there's a lot of useful resources you can use during your degree.
The teachers are always ready to help and the facilities are modern.
The methods of teaching are up to date.

Found it difficult to begin with as most Portuguese spoke to me in English once they found out where i was from. However, by the end of my stay i was confident wnough to speak the local language and people would not think of me as foreign.

It was a bit dificult at first, but I lernt portuguese by assisting to an intensive portuguese course for foreigners. But I was all day long in my laboratory, working alone the most of the time, and I couldn´t improve the languaje.

Why?
The campus wan recently built, the cleaning was made twice a week by the university staff and all the building was full with international students. The atmosphere was great and the friendships with the people i met there remained over years and over the distance.
