Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
While doing summer courses I stayed with a family and I liked it very much. I could learn much more about the culture and customs and make friends with local people. It helped me to learn their language too.

I liked housing at the university because I felt quite ok there. I met a lot of other students from different countries which was a wonderful experience. The facilities and space available could be better though.

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Family
Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
I overspent money for travel purposes. The airplain tickets between Spain and Portugal were really cheap because of Ryanair and it was a great opportunity to visit both countries. I visited in 6 months more than i visited my hole life and i am pretty happy of the chance that Erasmus gave it to me.

Nuno F
Portugal, Graduate
Engineering, Electronic, 2022
Overall
The school is very helpfull and has a good reputation. Once you complete the course it is easy to find a job and they have a lot of tools that facilitate job search.
The education is good and it covers both the theoretical and pratical parts of engeneering during all 5 years.

Pros
Good understanding on theoretical science and opportunity to develop harder projects incrementally
Cons
They only offer more standard careers paths and so, if you want a different choice you have to look for it yourself.
