Take the sena buses everywhere. Siena is a major bus hub.

Final comments
If you take a car, remember petrol is expensive. Parking in Siena is really difficult also. Try to get out of Siena and visit allover Tuscany. And the rest of Italy...especially Sicily, which is like another country!

The location was pretty good, the only thing I would want if i had to go back was an internet connection!

The housing in the city of Siena was pretty bad, Siena is a small city with a large population of students. The consequence of this is that the room prices were extremely high. It was also common to sleep in one room with two or three people (and even more). BUT, Siena is a beautiful city and the people there are great, so for a few months this is not feasible.
