Personal recommendation
Well, the University of Torino is very big...and it's probably organized differently than what you're used to. Coping with this can be difficult in the beginning, but you'll get into it. The Italian university system has a logic of its own.

Final comments
Go go go! You'll never regret it. Try to bring some extra money with you so you can travel around: the Italian railroad network is effective and inexpensive.

Personal comments
Well, italian and spanish are similar languages. So I guess that is the reason why i learnt so fast. Also, i found that is a country where most of the people help you in a conversation or do an effort to try to understand what you are saying. Also I liked so much italian language because of the way it sounds, so I had from the begining the interest to learnt it. I guess that this interest was also an important factor in the learning of the language

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: a shared appartment
Why?
It is more social to live with other students. And language improvements if you live with native speakers!

Personal comments
I chose the accommodation myself. It was VERY hard to find something, but I was pleased when I found an appartment.
