you cannot back in your own country without some trip at least in the north of Italy. I suggest Venice, Florence and even Rome.

The Catholic University has not an housing service, but it is very easy to find offers from privates in the University, unfortunally I think that prices are expensive. But we have even to say that the university is in the center of the city, in a wonderful area of Milan(close to Sant'Ambrogio and Duomo)
