“Wonderful experience”
Giacomo C
Italy, Graduate
International Relations, 2014
Overall
University of Genoa has been a great experience for me and my evolution. A mix of young and enthusiastic professors with a good numbers of senior professors full of experience and good advices. The campus is an historical palace of Genoa, and we could find a good meeting between studying and internships with local companies.

Overall
Genoa is a great city to live, teachers are very prepared and well disposed to help students. Maritime studies are almost unique in Italy
Many support services to support students to study and to find work after bachelor degree.
Good experience for foreign students.

“A bit chaotic, but interesting courses”
Dan D
Portugal, Graduate
, 1989
Overall
I attended the university several years ago, so I guess things changed in the meantime. My course of studies was very articulated, including some very good experiences (philosophy, geography, history of art) and some not so good. I am referring to the language training, which was very under: for English we started analysing Shakespeare on the first year and for French we went to Grammar level I, which was weird.
Classes were held around Via Balbi, in old buildings and the logistic was slightly nightmarish, although very picturesque.
The best thing was very low taxes and expenses for students, which allowed even low-income ones to complete their studies.

Nonostante molti corsi non mi siano risultati utili nelle mie esperienze lavorative ho trovato che l'università di Genova fosse completa. Non mancano corsi di approfondimento e la disponibiltà dei professori
