People are very nicefrom students to teachers and there is a great international students organization that works with some of the biggest universities in milan, preparing activities and parties 6 days a week!! ..but you should always be prepared for a little of that italian desorganization :)

Personal comments
In my opinion it kind of helped me in more than one language, once i lived in a residence and in the beggining only few of them would speak italian. I got my english more fluent and i've become quite familiar with the italian and also with spanish, although i tried not to speak because i'd confuse it a lot with italian.

Housing
Type of housing: students residence, but not inside a campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
because back then there was no students residence on campus, because they were still being built. Now I've told that they're already functioning.
