Summary of my university experience
Clara H
Italy,
Translation/Interpretation, 2022
Overall
Ever since I was a child, both my mother (a native of Veneto) and my father (a native of Sicily who later moved here to Padua to study) have always boasted of Padua's universities, which over time have been able to build their reputation as Italy's leading universities. My personal experience within this environment was further confirmation of what I had been told.
After finishing my studies, I felt that my language skills had been enhanced and broadened.

Overall

Italy,
Management Science, 2021
Overall
Educated and experienced professors, an international scientific environment.  One of the weak points that I can point to is the accent of the professors, which sometimes lowers the understanding of the material, and the educational environment is  without close communication between the professor and the student, i.e. not friendly

University of Padova
Amida A
Italy,
Communication and Information Sciences, 2023
Overall
The University of Padova is known to be one of the best Universities in Italy. I can believe that as the uality of the lessons was overall good and we had quite practical exams compred to other universities in Italy, even if still not enough.

Something that I didn't find in Padova, althought, is some nice student associations or laboratories in partnership with the University.

Personal spending habits
Certains things were simply cheaper in Italy while I was there but I have been back since the Euro arrived and things have definitely got significantly more expensive! However generally travel is cheaper than the UK, certain foods which Italians eat are cheaper whereas foods which they don't eat so regularly are more expensive. For example pasta and sauces are cheaper than the UK but breakfast cereal is more expensive. If you get a pizza in a restaurant or takeaway it will be cheaper - and a hell of a lot nicer! So, when in Italy, eat like the Italians do.

Personal comments
When I was there Italian banks had a monthly charge for having an account. It may be a better idea, depending on the amount of time you are there for, to get a UK accoount which has a Cirrus option so you can withdraw money in Italy (for a small fee).
