University of Siena - A review

Évaluation globale
The University of Siena in Italy is a prestigious institution known for its excellent academics and strong research focus. It offers a wide range of programs and a lively campus life, making it a fantastic place to pursue your education. The city of Siena itself is immersed in history and culture, creating a captivating atmosphere for students.
However, it's important to note that if you're studying in the health field, you may encounter some challenges when it comes to internships. Most of the programs in this field are primarily conducted in Italian, which can make it difficult for international students to access practical experience in the local healthcare industry. It's a language barrier that might limit your opportunities.
Nonetheless, the university is committed to supporting students and providing resources to help overcome these obstacles. They understand the importance of practical experience in the health field and will strive to assist you in your career aspirations.

That Arezzo is actually quite small and does not have the same student life as the main part of Siena University in Siena.

I personally would have prefered a larger University with more going on. If you quite like a quiet life and are there to study lots rather than meet people and speak the language, then it is probably a good place to go.

Try and live with local students, and when you go to lectures do not sit with other English students, but start speaking to the locals around you, as you really have to be confident and approach them to make friends. Once you do so, your stay there will be so much more fun! Arezzo is a great place to travel from, as its well situated in the middle of Tuscany. Definitely worth going to is Cinque Terra (although stay in La Spezia, as it is much cheaper)and Cortona (great views).

L'espace carrières
At the University of Siena, I gained a solid education in genetic counseling. Although I did not receive direct assistance in finding internships, I benefited from being part of an international student community, which broadened my perspective and fostered valuable skills.

Siena is brilliantly located so it is very easy to travel around Italy form there. Although it is an extremely accomodating city it is also quite small so if you're a person that gets bored easily choose to go to a bigger City with more activity. It did get a bit dull throughout the winter but the summer was brilliant. I've yet to see a more breathtaking Piazza and could just spend hours there sitting in it.

Évaluation globale
The University of Siena is really good, like the city. You will enjoy the medieval buildings and the atmosphere of the city. About the university, it depends on the curriculum you have chosen. International relation is a good university with some good professors, anyway, they never let us do practical exams. This is what they should improve more. We always had oral exams or written, so you have to study a lot of books and theory.

It is a small interesting town innthe toscani region of italy, closer to florence and empoli. Siena is a tourist area where you meet people from all walks of life. Life is very simple and relaxing, which makes school life here less stressful.
The education system is very good. It helps you to always give out your best, as the teachers are ever ready to assist any student.
