I lived with 5 other English speakers..although it was great fun, I didn't learn as much Italian as I could have if I had lived with Italian students.

I wish I had known...
For me, the best thing is meeting great people from all around the world. I now have dear friends in far-flung places like Columbia, Nepal, Ukraine, Norway, Equador and Switzerland.

Academic
Course recommendations
The quality of teachers is highly variable. In one period I had a dud but then got a brilliant teacher for the next 3 months. Change classes if not satisfied.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With Italian Students
Why?
Living with other English speakers guarantees that you will speak English 90% of the time and not become fluent in Italian.
