Its Paris, the most wonderful city on earth. Enjoy yourself, never again will you have the opportunity to live so cheaply and enjoy so much free time in such a fabulous place.

Submersion in another language is the most effective means of learning it. I enjoyed speaking French so much I refused to speak english in public places.

I loved living in my garret and would recommend it to anyone moving to Paris but, the older I get the more space I need!

Many of my fellow students stayed in CROUS accomodation because it was cheap and, though it was close to uni, it was quite a distance out of Paris. I found it better to commute to uni from town than vice versa

Quartier Montorgeuil/ St Denis is a favorite: cool bars. interesting people and not too expensive.
