I will not recommed any subjects specific, but have a good look a the subject that you want to do and verify with the International Relation Office if it is possible to follow the course in Spanish. All subject are given in Catalonian and next to that in Spanish, I had to go for one course to another faculty. But that is Barcelona, everything is in the Catalonian language

Learning a foreign language most effective if it is done in the courntry itself. Next to that when you have to study in it, you'll learn really fast. For the first months of university was sitting there and trying to listen what they where saying, but through the year your language will aporve rapidly.

If you want to go sporting in Barcelona you should join one of the DiR clubs, the offer almost all the facilities. Further about the nightlife, I have to write down what are the best cafés or clubs, It'll be a long list, but here are a few:
- Bar Royale

The faculty that I was in was almost out of the city (diagonal 690). It is an old faculty building with few facilities, but overall my opion of the faculties in Barcelona, while I have been to a few, are less equiped with computer materials
