Best pub ever: - El Rouge (very chill out - red lights artmosphere) - But keep in mind that the most alive night spots in Barcelona remains the street!!

Pourquoi?

To share an apartment with people of other countries was one of the best experience of my life. Moreover, compare to a compus accomodation, managing your own apartment (bills, facilities, ...) gives you more responsability and independence

Communication was the key word of my experience: a lot of people very open minded, from plenty of different places around the world. And the amazing point was that everybody was talking in spanish all the time even if we could speak english (even better sometimes)

Every semester there is an intensive 1 month spanish course for foreigners. I really advice people to do it: I met half of my current friends in that course, and I improved my spanish a lot, straight from the beginning.

It's difficult to talk about my student experience in Barcelona without a word about the Catalan culture. As a lot of people may think, it's not problem at all. Catalan and Spanish culture are very well mixed together in Barcelona. If you go there, you have to learn Catalan. And not because you need it (everybody speaks spanish) but because it's part of the culture and the people who live there.
