I started my Law Degree Program simultaneously with my LLM in International Arbitration Program taught in english in 2014 at Bucharest University-Faculty of Law and I successfully graduate LLM in 2015, with top grades, and received my Law Degree in 2018.As being my second Degree, after first in Economics ,an MBA in Italy and a relevant business and teaching experience ,my review can be relevant for readers.Law Degree Programme has offered me ,beside the compulsory overarching curricula in Law ,also multiple choices for extracurricular courses like US Law,Spanish Law,German Law,UK Contract Law,Comparative insolvency Law offered by foreign professors from top world Universities, as well as optional bundles of courses on Human Rights,Competition Law,Consumer Law and more others.
Professors ,high reputable lawyers and legal professionals ,are requesting high involvement of students in learning process, exigence is high but is rewarding students with better chances for Bar Admission and admission in other legal professions.More of this there is an important opportunity for students to attend a French Law Degree Programme of Sorbonne in frame of the College juridique in the same Faculty of Law- Bucharest University, sure after an entrance exam and payment of a fee. This College juridique
Degree Program can be continued with Master 1 and Master 2 as well as PhD doctoriale lectures.
Majority of students are aware of importance to study hard from the first day ,so competition is high.
As a successful graduate of LLM in International Arbitration ,I can recommend it as one of the best Programmes in International Arbitration in Europe, one of the few in Easter Europe, encompassing a large variety of subjects in Arbitration, from the Basics of International Arbitration to Comparative Arbitration,Construction Law Arbitration,Sport Arbitration,Investment Law Arbitration,EU Law& Arbitration,IP Law& Arbitration, including Romanian Law and being taught entirely in English and all exams and Dissertation requested in English.Besides Romanian professors - all Arbitration practitioners, also reknown International Arbitration practitioners, are invited to present lectures and practical seminars.Entrance exams are highly competitive also ,being a limited number of places.
Overall learning and social experience during LLM and Law Degree in Faculty of Law University Bucharest can be valued excellent.
