“I got just enough”

Overall

My experience in Leiden was exactly what I expected. Nothing more, nothing less. The facilities were great, most of the courses were interesting, while the professors tried their best to pass on their knowledge. The level of education offered is good but the graduates do not get enough help to join the job market. It is a good place to make a stop during your academic journey, but not the place that will set the foundations of your career.

Final comments

The weather is not the best one, there are however in-house activities that make up for it. People are friendly in general. Problems are difficult to resolve due to inflexibility and burocracy. It's a potentially expensive country, but very central and with many travelling opportunities and good prices.

It was definitely an experience of a lifetime, you'll absolutely love it! Just bring a very warm coat and a sturdy umbrella. It was a great experience!
