wonderful academic staff, great access to facilities. University is located in a a great location in a beautiful city with lots to do culturally, socially, etc. The city is also perfectly situated for travelling to other parts of Europe.

I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
Accomodation was in residence and cheaper than my rent. I was only in Maastricht for a short period and so spent more money going out and travelling than I would have at home to benefit from the experience. Long distance phone calls are more expensive too!
