"The Edge", Atak (Disco -> Alternative Rock - Sat, Techno-House - Thu, and concerts sometimes), The Kikker (bar), Friends Too (bar), Rocks (bar), Delirium (the best bar/disco, unfortunately closed too soon).

Best place to buy a bike is at Fietse Centrum Enschede where the ex-junkies prepare abandon bikes, sell them cheap and prepare them free (during the 1st 3 month) and offer coffee.

Atak is the only place not too main stream. Friends is a good warm up place for intenational students.
