The Netherlands are great! Everybody can speak english and so that it's easy to communicate with the others. Also TV programs and movies at the Cinema are in English so that you can practice the language in every situations.

Pourquoi?

It was a student house and the accomdations were excellent-clean, large rooms, reasonably priced. It was located clsoe to the university and enxt to a supermarket and internet cafe and real clsoe to the city center

The rents and food are more expensive than at home and, of course, I travelled more in Holland. Moreover are there no student discounts for public transport as Dutch students don't have to pay anything (what, however, doesn't apply for foreign students)

don't use public transport, but buy yourself a cheap bike get yourself bonus cards (for free) at the supermarkets

very good course. maybe too large so very little contact with professors. minimal group work is nice but it is hard to have 2 exams every 4 weeks for 4 years straight. harsh grading too and little help offered.
